Today we worship Him who is truly The Chief Commander – the supreme military leader of all armies, past – present and future, the one who rules with a scepter of righteousness the kingdom’s of the world, the one who eternally generates from God the Father. That is: Jesus Christ, King of kings, Lord of lord’s, the Messiah who having established his rightful position through his death, burial and resurrection has been anointed by God to physically rule over the nations of the world. “I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, `Thou art My Son, Today I have begotten Thee. Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Thine inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron, Thou shalt shatter them like earthenware” (Psalms 2:7 – 9).
