Today were spotlighting our two fight choreographers: Kelsey Painter and Jamie Jager. There are a ton of fights in Coriolanus, including a major battle scene, an extended one-on-one fight sequence, and a mob riot. Besides those three big ones, we have a smattering of falls and beatings. Jamie and Kelsey have choreographed every bit beautifully; the fights in this show are intense, fast, 100% believable. As Jamie said in our first fight rehearsal, the priorities are, in this order: Safety, Story, Awesomeness. These phenomenal artists have hit all three - all while Kelseys playing at least 10 roles in the show itself. We cant wait for you to see the realism and intensity that these two have brought to the production!
