Today, when the Ukrainian people have spoken with an unprecedentedly unified voice in favor of the Western civilizational path, the success or failure of reforms in Ukraine becomes a matter of extreme importance for the whole region. For the last decade, Georgia has produced a generation of young reformers who are eager to help the new Ukrainian government in building a new Ukraine by sharing the experiences of Georgian reforms. Although I personally neither seek nor plan to have a formal position, our team - dozens of experienced Georgian reformers - are already working in Kiev and other cities of Ukraine. We are already cooperating with the government on launching the unified electronic system of public registry and the Houses of Justice projects that were so iconic for Georgian reforms. We are also working with the new mayor of Kiev and other leaders of local governments around the country. The success of reforms in Ukraine would define the victory of freedom in the whole region. Therefore, it’s importance is immense not only for Ukraine but for my Georgia as well.
