Today while driving down Memorial street I saw a little tan Chihuahua running in the middle of the road. I hopped out of my car and proceeded to make a fool of myself by stopping traffic coming and going by waving my arms and yelling STOP!! I chased, yes chased, the poor little fella for almost a hour until he hid under a van parked on Perkins St. I tried crawling under the van to put a slip leash on him but no luck! I called the MAS and Brandi came quickly with a slip lead pole. We finally cornered him and I was able to pick him up and carry him to the MAS truck. I worried about him the rest of the day and called the shelter enough times to be a bother Im sure!! When I arrived home I checked FB to see if there were any postings about a lost Chihuahua. None found, then I scrolled through old postings and sure enough, there it was!!! I called the # and told the owner where Her little man was. I also called the MAS yet again , to let them know I thought I found his owner. Happy to report tonight Coco is home, safe and sound after being lost since Monday! His Daddy left the gate open accidently and they have been looking everywhere for him! Thank you Brandi for arriving so quickly and helping me, Thank you Penny for answering all of my phone calls, thank you motorists for not running over me and Coco and thanks to the power of FB for being able to reunite Coco with his Family!! I LOVE happy endings!!
