Today will be bitter sweet as we say goodbye to another of our wool sheep. She has provided us with some beautiful wool over her years. But, through our breeding and adding of other sheep, it is time to cull her from the flock. She is very skittish and this, in turn, makes the others unnecessarily on edge. She will now provide our family with food, for which we are very thankful. So, on this day of independence, we are thankful that we are able to independently provide our family with food produced with integrity. I hope that we may continue to protect the freedom to engage in this way of life.
