Today will be my first full week without mom. Still adjusting. Still want to go tell her about things that I experience or that happen. Things that I know she would have enjoyed knowing. It is getting easier everyday, but it is still difficult. I cant thank my friends and family enough for all of the support that you have given me. Shout out to the bestie. She did an awesome job at moms funeral. She did the eulogy and Steve , her husband, did the graveside scripture and prayer. Thank you also to Peggy Boyd, the best surrogate mom that a girl could ask for. This is going to be a year of firsts. First Thanksgiving without mom, first Christmas, first New Year, first birthday....so many firsts without mom. But thats ok, I know where my mom is and I would not ask to have her back for anything, because I know that she is so happy in Heaven.
