Today, with a bipartisan, bicameral coalition, I announced the Regulatory Improvement Act of 2014. This bill is the result of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents – in both the House and the Senate – putting people above partisanship, and solutions above ideology. By taking a pragmatic, problem solving approach to simplifying federal regulations, we can foster a pro-business, pro-growth environment that encourages job creation and economic development opportunities, leading to more jobs here at home and across the country.
