Today would have been my Pap and Gramz 62 Yr Anniversary....He will have been gone 13 years .... crazy, it seems like yesterday we were all together. Being far away from your family tends to put things into perspective, especially this time of year. Family traditions arent the same, people have grown up or apart and I never want to forget how important it is to keep in touch with family and realize people grieve and deal with certain things in different ways and different times, but keep your loved ones close and always tell each other how much they mean to you. Life is entirely too short, and this coming from the girl who thought it was too long and didnt know if she could make it another year. I have a different outlook on a lot of things, and the best way to honor myself and my family and friends that love and care about me, is to keep living life and experiencing all the things I can and sharing it. I keep my loved ones close, no matter how far away I am, but I understand people can also be far away, even if physically next to you...be present, be aware, enjoy others and dont take yourself too seriously, what is that saying? Because No One else does....just Love.
