Today, you can help save lives in Belarus. MSW has had a special outreach to orphans and needy people in Belarus since 2011. Today - theres an urgent need for a health care computer system that will save lives. Dr. Nikoli from Usachi hospital is asking for your help. With a $2,000 computer system his hospital can provide immediate diagnosis information to the larger hospital in Vitebsk, where he must transfer patients to receive the urgent care his little hospital cannot provide. When time is critical and the hospital is 125 miles away, the only way to communicate is by phone, often resulting in miscommunication, which leads to inadequate or improper diagnosis. In the U.S., this is unthinkable. $2,000 doesnt seem like a lot, but the very favorable exchange rate allows for just such a purchase at an extremely fair cost. Consider providing the funds that will purchase the computer and network system that will make digitized records and improved patient care move from a possibility to a reality in Usachi. Ive been invited to Belarus in mid-May for the consecration of the long awaited church in Zvonia. It will be a special blessing to present these funds to our friend, Dr. Nikoli, and the hospital that faithfully serves this small community.
