Today you may notice on many websites that there is a large loading ring that is present on them. It is a symbol of what is to come if we do not achieve what is called net neutrality. The fundamental idea is that there will be fast lanes of internet for websites that pay extra and slow lanes for everyone else. That means a majority of the internet will be slower and websites will be subject to bias and corporate politics in order to determine their speed.
