Today your prayers for my sons transfer to Kennedy Krieger Institute from Johns Hopkins was a success. These two hospital facilities are connected by an underground tunnel and will simply wheel Bryan over when ready. Once Bryan recovers from the massive amounts of seizures and the medication induced sleeping we will move from the Pediatric Intensive care unit. From there will will go to another floor at JH or KKI where will we continue to closely monitor him to improve his health. At KKI his medications can be safely adjusted, his health condition improved and his therapies increased to move him away from failing to thrive. Our goal is to get Bryan back to baseline in less than 4 weeks. While he is there we will attend his therapies and work on modifying his half bathroom by adding a handicapped accessibility shower. Simultaneously we will get him a new wheel chair and modify our van to be handicapped accessible. Then we will be bringing him home for out patient treatment to continue to improve his condition. Once again this is all depend on Bryans condition improving. The nurses and doctors of both facilities are on the same page and working together it is a wonderful miraculous turn around. Thank you God and all those who offered up their encouragements and prayers. Somewhere in here my wife will take a moment to have a baby adding to the McLemores.
