Todays 2014 shout out goes to the mad genius himself, Mr. Julian Grant. Sticking with the theme of this countdown, Julian has certainly been a huge part of my 2014, but it really goes beyond that. Ever since he gave me the honor of casting me as the lead in his project, Arkham Sanitarium: Soul Eater, we have become quite close. His resume/reputation easily speaks for itself, but I appreciate him even more as a person, as well as his wonderful wife, Julie. Making it look easy and very stress free, he successfully navigated us through our feature this summer, Finding Hope. Wearing the hats of a writer/producer/director, I dont think I saw him blink once as he delivered this project on a budget that would make many filmmakers cringe, yet at such a level that all involved will be proud of. The stakes get higher as we are slated to at it again in our biggest project to date, that we will be shooting in the spring.
