Todays Devotional 25:11:2014: You Are Connected Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, Ephesians 1:5 (KJV) More often than not, believers underestimate the full import of salvation. We think that God saved us just to come to church and clap hands. Christianity is much more than that. When God saves you, He brings you back to your source. The new birth connects you back to your root. You become connected to the One that created you. The new birth gives you access to the creative mind of God. The new birth restores you to your rightful place in God. Then you can operate like Jesus on earth, not in the future, but right now. Have you ever wondered why Jesus Christ was never confused? Of course, He knew who He was. He understood His roots. The Bible says He was an express image of His Father. And as He is, so are we in this world. That was why Jesus could say that the works He did and greater, we will do, because we are made to be like Him. In other words, you are a carrier of Gods presence on earth. You carry an expensive cargo, That is why the devil is after your life, but He that is in you is greater. Arent you glad the greater one lives inside you? Do you know that as a child of God, you belong to a higher order? People may conspire against you in the office or business environment, but the moment you appear, all the principalities will bow. Every other spirit must give way when you show up. Thats because of your connection. If you really know who you are in Christ, you will square up your shoulders and walk tall knowing that NOTHING has the capacity to destroy you. You have been adopted into the family of God and all the rights and privileges of sonship are available to you. By virtue of this connection, I command sickness to fly out of your body.
