Disappointments are not all negative; rejection can be direction The next thing you need to understand is that all disappointments are not rejections. Some rejections are actually directions from God. One thing you need to understand is that as children of God, God is committed to you to make all things right including your marriage. So if you fall in love with someone you think is okay but in God’s estimation will be a setback for you in some ten years’ time, God himself will organise a break up! Because you are His child and He has promised that no evil will befall you. It is only God that knows a potential spouse that will not last. It is only God that knows when you get involved with a certain person, you might be widowed at the age of forty. It is only God that knows a person that will walk out of the marriage after a few years. If you have fallen in love without his direction with a wrong person, God will allow such a relationship to break up! The reality then is that the more you get involved with wrong people and without God’s direction, the more those relationships will break up! That is the stark reality!
