Todays Featured game is Pandemic. What started as a rumor and a legend in my playgroup as nearly unbeatable game has become one of my favorite board games ever. It is ever changing and with the aid of its 2 expansions adds tons of different game modes and near unlimited replayability. One thing about this game makes it stand out among everything else in my own collection. This game is co-operative. Thats right, it is you vs the game and the game doesnt pull punches. Work with your friends to save the world from germ-ageddon in Pandemic. Four diseases have broken out in the world and it is up to a team of specialists in various fields to find cures for these diseases before mankind is wiped out. Players must work together, playing to their characters’ strengths and planning their strategy of eradication before the diseases overwhelm the world with ever-increasing outbreaks. But the diseases are outbreaking fast and time is running out: the team must try to stem the tide of infection in diseased areas while also towards cures.
