Todays Get to Know focuses on former All-Patriot League defensive back Brian Andrews: Get to Know Bryan Andrews Q: What made you want to join the Trenton Freedom? BA: I heard a lot about Coach O’Hanlon and Coach Kohler; about the type of people, program and the defense they ran, and that got me excited and I want to be a part of it. It’s close to where I went to school at Lehigh University. So that’s what made me choose. Q: What are some adjustments to playing the indoor game versus outdoors? BA: To me, it’s the space. It’s a shorter field so your reaction time has to be quicker, and the quarterback is going to his first read nine times out of 10. So that’s pretty much it. Q: What are some goals that you hope to achieve this season? BA: The main thing is to win a championship. I was fortunate in college to win back-to-back championships, so I’m used to winning and I love winning. Also to do whatever I can to help the team. Be the best I can be, and when I do that, all the accolades and everything should come along with it. Q: Tell us a little about yourself off the field. What are some hobbies/interests that you have? BA: I’m actually from Georgia, so I’m a long ways away from home. I’ve played multiple sports; football, basketball and soccer, so sports are everything to me. That’s pretty much it. I’m also big into motorcycles. I love them.
