Todays Good News: There are many rivers, lakes, ponds, oceans that we have to cross in life. But these arent calm lakes, or ponds or oceans, These are violent ones. The ones that make you second guess crossing them. You are on shore. Very comfortable and content with what you have on this shore. As long as you stand on this shore, the sun will shine on you... so thats what you think. Your journey with Christ is ever evolving. This Journey will consist of CONSTANT faith testing. You need your faith tested, as often as possible. Otherwise how will you know if your faith is real or just a fabric of your imagination. Jesus told Peter to get out of the boat and walk to him. Peter obeyed. It was when Peter lost focus on Christ that he started to sink. Peter looked left and right and realized that what he was doing was insane. That the conditions that he was in, were treacherous and he wasnt SUPPOSE to be walking on water. It was that realization that made Peter SINK. Dont look at your situation. LOOK AT CHRIST. See that HE CAN get you out of ANY SITUATION. Jesus has GREAT THINGS for you but you have to believe and have faith in what he stands for, his capability, his powers, his love, his generosity, You have to understand that he is KING OF EVERYTHING!!! Test your faith. Dont be afraid. If you want something and you believe Christ will have your back, protect you, guide you, monitor your path, veer your from danger, calm your nerves.....HE WILL DO ALL THOSE THINGS. My wife and I are praying to relocate to Florida. Im willing to comfortably give away my pension. A pension that is suppose to bring comfort, stability and security to my future family. Im going to give that up TO BE WITH FAMILY. To make my wife happy. Im also giving this up because I KNOW, I KNOW that God will GIVE ME, PROVIDE FOR ME, DELIVER something GREATER then what my Pension WOULD HAVE BEEN. When He sees the sacrifice that we make in life with HIM IN OUR HEARTS. He will not ignore that. He will NOT think, This guy is crazy, he thinks that Imma bless him JUST BECAUSE he believes in me....He will actually think the opposite of that, he will think, Wow, Im honored. I will take on this great responsibility and bless him greatly because he believes in me wholeheartedly. Im so proud of him. I want him to KNOW that IIIIII TOO love HIM. I will give Him what I thought of before he was born. I will give him what he was MEANT TO HAVE.... ....and it goes on and on, OUR Lord has a plan for ALL OF US. WE are ALL MEANT to be something GREAT. You have to believe that. You also have to believe that Our Lord is GREATER THEN OUR SITUATION. GREATER!!! Put everything on Jesuss plate. EVERYTHING. Once you put it on his plate, BELIEVE, HAVE FAITH, as much Faith as you have that the Sun will rise in the East, that the wind will blow at some point in the day, that the sun will set in the West, etc etc. Have FAITH and walk on that water with ONE FOCUS, Jesus Christ. -Swayze Lama
