Todays Gospel. Mark 3:31-35 *Jesus and His Family*, Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Reflection: Here are my mother and my brothers. Whoever does the will of God is brother and sister and my mother to me. May mga nag- iinterpret sa salita ni Hesus na itoy rejection ng Kanyang pamilya. This is no rejection of His family but a prayer of thanksgiving. He taught us to pray that the will of the Father should be done here on earth even as it is done by the angels and saints in heaven. When men and women on earth actually follow the will of the Father and when they try to know Gods will, isnt this what Jesus prayed for and what we pray for also? Tayo po ba ay nasisiyahan kung may mga tao tayong nakikita ay napapag-alaman na gumagawa ng mabuti o ng mga aral at kagustuhan ng Diyos? Do we rejoice with them that God is glorified here on earth, in the same way as He is glorified in heaven? Jesus challenges us to recognize the power of the Holy Spirit that builds up individuals and communities, binding up their wounds that cause division. If we are divided, then we cannot grow together as part of Gods family. (Adopted from the Daily Gospel Now by RE Sullivan, Paulines Publications) caa w/Richie A. Navoa
