Todays Lesson, taken from Luke 11:23 using the New Living - TopicsExpress

Todays Lesson, taken from Luke 11:23 using the New Living Translation, is based on the works of Tyndale House Publishers to whom I express my gratitude for their generosity in providing the Life Application Study Bible ® Devotion at YouVersion . Todays Lesson: For or Against Christ? The Choice Is Yours How does todays passage relate to the passage in Luke 9:50: Anyone who is not against you is for you? In the earlier passage, Jesus was talking about a person who was driving out demons in His name. Those who fight evil, He was saying, are on the same side as the ones driving out demons in His name. In todays passage, by contrast, He was talking about the conflict between God, the Blessed Trinity, and the enemy. In this battle, if a person is not on side of the Blessed Trinity, he or she is on the side of the enemy. There is no neutral ground. Hint: Because the Blessed Trinity has already won the battle, why be on the losing side? Our Saving Grace: If you arent actively for Christ in the Blessed Trinity, you are against him. ************ To learn more about the Life Application Study Bible ®, visit: NewLivingTranslation/05discoverthenlt/lasb.asp
