U11 Boys U11 (B) 1 v Cahir Park (B) 5 The U11B’s played Cahir Park B on the Peake Villa astro pitch, This was a well contested game with the U11B squad players showing great improvement on their opening game of the series. Gavin O’Shaughnessy gave a man of the match performance in goal as he demonstrated his goalkeeping skills. The difference between the two teams was their ability to take their goal scoring chances, Cahir Park took their chances scoring 5 goals to Villa’s only goal scored in the second half by Eoin Cosgrave. U11 (A) 1 v Clerihan (A) 0 This match was an evenly contested game with both sides doing their best to play passing football. The deadlock was broken after 10 minutes when Niall Dunne latched on to a great pass from Keelan Graham and slotted the ball home with a left footed shot into the goals. Soon after Lorcan Cummins made a great save from a corner and cleared his lines to keep Clerihan scoreless. Both teams continued to play good football and as both teams were evenly matched the game was non stop from one end to the other.
