But one thing I cant understand is, why these cricketers themselves cannot contribute a small part of their life time earnings for the purpose for a person in trouble from their own fraternity? Why cant Gavaskar force BCCI to help the player in need? These people earn crores yet turn to fans who earn only in thousands or at most lacs to help in times of need.. Vagaries of high earners!!
