Todays P & W Thought: Rejoice, Pray, Give Thanks to the Lord 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. This passage contains very short verses: Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances ... But, they tell us a great deal about the will of God in three important areas of everyday life. They are simple commands, beginning with rejoice always. This is only possible because of the supernatural joy of the Holy Spirit bubbling up from the inside. So, our rejoicing is not dependent upon happy experiences. Next is to pray without ceasing. This means constant communion and close relationship with the divine giver of joy. Its a humble, devoted trust in Gods provision. And lastly, were to give thanks in all circumstances. This requires complete surrender and peaceful abandon to worship the God who holds every moment of our lives securely in his grip. Have a Sweet Sunday my friends … Israel & New Breed
