Todays Promise: When the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, this word of the Lord came to Shemaiah: “Since they have humbled themselves, I will not destroy them but will soon give them deliverance. (2 Chro 12:7 NIV). Good morning your greatness. It doesnt matter how hard you pray or try to please God, you can never fool Him. God responds to humbleness. It is written, Humble yourself under the mighty hand of the Lord and in due time He will lift you up. Praying to God before you begin your day is an action born out of humbleness because you realise you cannot go through a single day without His help. A simple prayer before you start your day echoes the words of an old song entitled Lead Me on Holy Spirit, I cant live without You, I cant walk this road alone, in my heart I need You, Holy One come take my hand.
