Todays Quest: That day...This day - 2 Peter 3:10-12 (frm Charles Swindoll book The quest for cHaracter) Since the world and all its works will one day dissolve in one convulsive flash, what kind of life ought we to be living on this temporary , soon-to-pass world? What kind of priorities ought to shape our schedules? What kind of considerations ought to map our steps, guide our conversation and determine our direction? ....that day says Peter should have an impact on this day. Guard your heart from anything that might cause you embarassment when that day arises. For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His (2 chronicles 16-9). Many things occur when we set our hearts to seek God, including personal evaluation. Is your heart completely His???...Choose one area of reservation and invite the Spirit of God to break through, to dig in, to conquer new ground. Turn your prayers today in the direction of surrender rather than defense. He will strongly support that attitude. Release!!! Goodnight everyone!!!! God bless us all.
