Todays Sunday service sermon was by Ps. Patrick. ( PART 2) AS CHRISTIANS , WE HAVE THE CITIZENSHIP IN HEAVEN BUT GOD WILL ONLY RESCUE THE GODLY ONES INTO HEAVEN. GODLY PEOPLE ARE THE ONES THAT HAVE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF JESUS IN THERE LIFE. SO PEOPLE, GOING TO CHURCH EVERY WEEK , DOING MINISTRIES , AND SO ON IS NOT ENOUGH FOR US TO INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD BUT WE NEED TO HAVE JESUS IN OUR LIFE. OTHERS SHOULD SEE JESUS THROUGH US. POSSESS THE CHARACTERISTIC OF JESUS IN ORDER TO LIVE AN EVERLASTING LIFE IN HEAVEN Philippians 3:20 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 2 Peter 2 : 9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Matthew 25:31-34 31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. James 1:25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. Matthew 25:30 30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
