Todays adventures in movement: 10 rounds of the #CrossFit #wod Cindy (AMRAP in 20 min of 5 #pullups, 10 #pushups, 15 air #squats). But I did 1 round, then rested 1 min, then repeat till 10 rounds were completed. Took me 20:37 total. Not bad! I did the #workout this way to kind of mimic labor. Contractions usually last 1-2 min, followed by brief rest before the next one comes along. So I did push myself during each round because I knew rest was coming. Kipping pullups still feel good in small doses. Chest to bar require a more dynamic kip, so I quit doing those months ago to save my lax shoulders and joints. But pullups are in my wheelhouse normally, so I find I can continue during pregnancy. The hardest movement was the deficit pushups! Had to break them up. But using plates helps me reach depth without bruising the #bump.
