Todays day is a special anniversary . Today, 404 years ago on the 9th October 1610, the Polish squadrons led by Hetman Stanislaw Zolkiewski entered Moscow and took over the Kremlin . Moscow was Polish! Poles are the only nation that managed to conquer Russia and install its ruler in the Kremlin. This was a consequence of the Battle of Kłuszin (Klushino youtube/watch?v=cRZ-PKm890w ) 1610, a rather spectacular victory for Poland (and especially for the winged hussars youtube/watch?v=dnR4KN4uxKU ) over the combined forces of Russia and Sweden.
