Todays event has rekindled my almost dwindling hope for Ghana. Today, the professional class (middle class) which has been dormant for God knows how long, came out in their numbers to send a clear and resounding message across to the government that WE ARE TIRED OF THE MEDIOCRITY, INSENSITIVITY and INCOMPETENCE of the leaders of this country. Despite the heavy downpour and some attempts by the police to frustrate us from exercising our constitutional right of freedom of assembly, we defied the odds and sent our message across. To those who are making a fool out of themselves by mocking us, you can continue to tickle yourselves but we know you are shaken by our resolve to make Ghana work again. We will not allow you to continue taking the masses for granted; ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Thank God for giving us the breath and courage to carry out todays event successfully, thanks to all those who turned up to make this event worthwhile, and thanks to all those who couldnt make it but supported us with your prayers and encouragement. This is the first of many demonstrations to be carried out until this government amends its ways and provide us with RESPONSIBLE GOVERNANCE. We are hoping that the next time around, those who couldnt make it will do so. God bless us all and God bless our homeland Ghana.
