Todays funeral was gut-wrenching and beautiful. The love, prayers and faith of so many have carried our family and we are forever grateful. Some services are just perfect- today was one of those just perfect ones. We are especially grateful for Pastor and friend Ryan Blackwell and dear friend Matt Maher for leading our hurting community to the feet of Jesus. They gave us permission to grieve AND hope in the same breath. Many of your locations were read aloud during the service- all over the world. Maggie and Ellen have forever changed us and we are grateful for their 160 days on this earth with us. We ended the ceremony outside releasing balloons as we symbolically released them into the Lords tender, loving, joyful, perfect care.
