Todays love message dedication is for Tury Parra and his beautiful wife-Lisa . I ve known them both since junior high. First , separate and then together. I m so happy Tury swept up Lisa in a whirlwind romance and then shortly after made her his so happy bride. Tury is what a man is supposed to be. He is strong in his convictions. He is protective of those he loves. He is generous. He is handy and mechanical. Young men nowadays cant change a flat tire, fix a leaky faucet and some even want their woman to support them. Tury is cut from a cloth from the past. He is tough when needs to be but a softy when it calls for it. Artesia is a little town with not a lot to do but if I ask Katrina lets go visit Lisa and Tury . She is up for it. He takes us or her out shooting and boating. Feed us well so yes we love to visit. Tury is a hell of a man. Now Lisa. Ive known her as Lisa Camacho, Lisa Ortiz and now Lisa Parra. But they are all the same wonderful, funny, silly and thoughtful friend who would give you her last dollar if you needed it. Lisa has had her trials and tribulations, more than anyone should experience. She is very humble woman who has 3 awesome kids . I miss her. I was accustomed to seeing Lisa several times a month whenever we lived in same cities. Now its only a few times a year so that is something I need to work on. Anyway, Lisa is the woman that sends me and all family and friends greeting cards on ALL holidays. Her cards always make us smile. I cant even get Christmas cards out once a year. Lol. Her smile is infectious. I loved sunday football games with her. Always full of cacophonous noise and laughter. Because of her we would go Christmas caroling in whatever city we lived in. Halloween is always fun with her too. Thanksgiving goes without saying but Christmas is a time to be remembered with her and her lovely singing. Lisa always puts those she loves before herself. I am just happy that she decided to make herself a priority and be happy with her love Tury. And to the Ortiz family and her kids I dont want to take away from her marriage to Kiko. She was an amazing wife and mother in that part of her life but that is for another time to enjoy that book of Lisas life. Heres a couple Pix from visits with these great guys.
