Todays marathon session of d&d was probably the most crazy thing we have ever done. We have found the area of the monastary we have been seeking. First though deep within we stumbled upon a man, a very very old man, archiving eternally. When he spoke his mouth opened and let out dust, he has cobwebs all over him, and when he spoke his mouth did not move, but a cold whisper came out. After questioning we found a secret door, which what we called the "archiver" denied 3 times, when i attempted to use the crystal key he moved unaturally fast and attacked.....68 hitpoints later he was dead. mirror image and healing saved my life. We opened the door and found the trasure of the monastary....but not the power. While everyone was happy and excited i still wanted to continue, but we needed to go lvl. So after that we returned, but not the same way, by strange means we have been allowed to use a mirror of mental prowess, from which we can scry, and open portals. i opened a portal to a room i remember, but everyone in the party wonders how i remember it. Upon entering we discover and evil as hell room we cant see into because of an invisible wall, and theurgists equipment. Long stroy short we eventually found a secret door leading to a huge chamber containing a book in the middle of an enourmous pool of water. I took the book and found enourmous huge high lvl spells i cant know, but now have. i was happy but the invisible wall still held a secret. After activating switches lidairus somehow knew how to activate the barrier was dropped. And upon entering we found a contained, and inprisoned BALOR! After little questioning of the contained demon we left. More happened but to much to type. But now we know an incredibly powerful demon resides under the monastary, and we now hold riches and power from this place.
