Todays meditation from Bishop Steven Charleston: I like old-fashioned values. Courtesy and kindness, honor and integrity, modesty and civility. I like new-fangled ideas. Pluralism and diversity, equality and individuality, innovation and expression. I am an old-fashioned new-fangle. Life is best along the edges, where we bring our past with us as we step out into a new beginning. Values are our compass, we are meant to use them as we navigate uncharted waters. Change is tradition growing. I do not want to live in a museum any more than I wish to exist in chaos. Wander free, let wisdom find the border.
