Todays new item: Brightmoon Guard Shield This shield can be seen in the corridors of Castle Brightmoon and after a fan suggested these would make for excellent Brightmoon Guard shields, I just had to have them. Especially since they will go really well with the Brightmoon Guard Orb Staffs that I already created a while back. The prototype was printed in White Strong & Flexible Polished, but the wings didn´t come out as good as hoped. So I adjusted them to be a bit more visible, but I don´t have the new version with me yet. I´ll show you a pic of the final version as soon as I receive it, but the only difference is really just the slits of the wing decoration that are a bit more visible now. So if you already like what you see here and plan to order it, the piece you´ll receive will look even better. In addition, if the rough surface of the White Strong & Flexible material doesn´t do it for you on this item, you should go for the White Detail. I do have to point out though that the gold spraypaint I used for painting the prototype also had sparkling freckles that added to the rougher look of the shield. A different paint will result in a much sleeker look for sure. By the way: You can also get the shield pre-tinted in various colors: Purple, Pink and Yellow.
