I also talk a little bit about brands available and pricing. youtu.be/gTWqK7TR7ZM I did want to share with you a little calculation I did regarding the price difference between Sephora Australia and Sephora in the US - it might not go the way you think... After reviewing the prices for this video and comparing them to their US counterpart (with tax added), I dont think that the mark up is actually that bad - at least on certain items. Especially if you take into account the current Australian dollar value. The biggest markup I found was actually on Australian brand BECCA Cosmetics Australia which is a shame. For for example the BITE Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons are $30 AUD in #SephoraAus and $24 USD in the US. With say a 7% sales tax that would bring them to $25.68 USD. At the current exchange rate, the equivalent would be $32.06 AUD (and thats the xe rate, not the bank rate, which would actually give you less for the Australian dollar meaning that would bring up the price even more). So in this instance we are paying less in Sephora Australia then we would in Sephora US. Obviously the markup varies from brand to brand and product to product but I thought I would share as some food for thought ;) xx
