Todays power song. I dare you to find a modern band that rivals the sheer power and energy of The Pretenders and this song. I was lucky enough to see them a couple of times back in the day....the first time was at Northern Kentucky University in 1980. It was general admission seating, and I dragged my sister and one of her friends to see them. We were the first people in line, and got to watch the sound check. I spotted Chrissie Hynde sitting up in the bleachers reading a book. She was/is one of my idols, but I didnt have the guts to approach her....
