Todays rally on Jammie Plaza calling on the SRC and UCT management to declare unequivocally that Israel is an apartheid state, to endorse the call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS), and to pressure government to end trade with Israel, expel the Israeli Ambassador from South Africa, and withdraw the South African Ambassador from Israel. We commend the UCT SRC for adopting this memorandum in its entirety, and urge management to do the same. UCT management has seven days to respond to this call.
