Todays run was pretty amazing! I started about an hour before sunrise, placing my chilled Nuun bottles strategically around my little town. I changed things up from last weeks route, which took me to a road that has been under construction all summer. Its due to open soon, and it dawned on me today that I could run this LONG stretch of brand new road, without encountering any traffic in my lane. So thats what I did. As I neared the end of the run, I stopped at my final water stop, which happens to be my parents mailbox. There was note from my Mom on the sidewalk next to my Nuun bottle, instructing me to check the mailbox. Inside was an envelope with Starbucks card inside.❤️ Starbucks is my favorite place to treat myself--and I love it after my long runs, because they will add protein to your drink for just fifty cents a scoop. (Yea, muscle recovery). Its the little things. My mom is precious!👭 My splits...
