Todays security update: Operation Protective Edge against the Hamas in the Gaza Strip: During last night many rockets were shot towards Israel. Eight rockets were launched in the direction of Beer-Sheva. Fortunately they were all intercepted by Iron Dome or fell in open fields. Following our message from yesterday (July 8) there will be no classes, tests and cultural events in Ben-Gurion University (on Beer Sheva Campuses only) until Saturday July 7, 2014. A clarifications regarding exams – If security situation allows and it is decided on the returning to full activity on Sunday, July 13, the exams will begin the following day, Monday July 14 (regarding the updated exam schedule - an update will be issued tomorrow, July 10) The Students Psychology Service is available for immediate assistance to students as well as staff who suffer from anxiety or pressure.
