Todays step to normalize relations with Cuba is a good thing, irrespective of the fact that Communism is an onerous and pernicious form of government. Communism professes high ideals that materialize with an always repressive government and an elite few of the Communist party, living a life of luxury. If you look at things impartially, many of those same conditions are creeping into the government of the USA! Remember, the CIA made it possible for Fidel Castro to OVERTHROW the government of Batista with a band of ragtag soldiers. And yet the government of the USA would not provide support for Fidel to create a new country. Raul Castro, Fidels brother, got financial support for the new Cuban government from The Soviet Union on the condition that Cuba adopt Communism. So it would appear the USA really tacitly helped create Communism in Cuba. SOBERING THOUGHTS....HARD TO DIGEST.....YET TRUE NEVERTHELESS!!!! Let us hope the plight of the Cuban people will begin to improve. PLEASE SEE AND FEEL THIS HAPPENING IN YOUR THOUGHTS. God know the Cuban people have lived in sub-human conditions for many decades!!!!
