Todays story is a new one. Actually just happened. My love, Eric, loves to relic hunt. He has 3 metal detectors.... he goes to ghosts towns when he can, does old farm houses if he has a chance... we may have snuck in a few place after dark.... but one day about 7/8 years ago he went to detect Lee High school when he had a few hours. The signal he got wasnt that strong.. but consistent. So he decided to dig it up... ended up being a class ring from 2000...Eric looked up the name, then ended up putting the ring in the safe with the other rings he had found over the years... today he started going through some older stuff... what to keep, etc... came across that class ring. When he read the name this time it sounded familiar. We were introduced by Patrick about two years ago.. have been some what friends ever since. Dennis lost his ring about 6 months after he got it... caught hell from his parents... it sat in the dirt for 7 years. Eric found it and it sat in our safe for 7 years. Tonight Dennis came over to get it. Karma sure has a great sense of humor.
