Todays top song .... Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds preforming Loverman. I remember hearing Nick Cave for the first time in the early 90s. Henry Rollins was presenting 120 Minutes on MTV (back when they actually focused on music) and he was playing some of his favourite videos. One of them was The Weeping Song by Nick Cave. Ive remember being transfixed, wondering why I liked it. It wasnt rock like what I was used to. I bought Let Love In not long after that and its always been one of my favourite albums (although saying that, there are a LOT of really good Nick Cave albums). Its the one I consistently go back to as its just a solid peice of art. Most people will have heard Red Right Hand from it (it seems to appear on a lot of soundtracks) but thought Id pick Loverman from it. Hell, its such a good song even Metallica have covered it.....
