Todays transfer news: 1) Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been given the go-ahead to sign striker Alexandre Pato in January. Corinthians have hinted they will allow him to move for £10million or on loan. 2) Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on the progress of promising young French striker Paul-Georges Ntep. The 21-year-old, currently of Auxerre, is known for his pace and finishing ability, with a prolific record at youth level for France, as well as for his club. 3) Arsenal now want €19m Italian winger Alessio Cerci who plays for Torino in Serie A. Out of 18 league goals, Cerci has directly contributed in 11 of them with 8 goals and 3 assists in his 12 league appearances. 4) Gifted midfielder Edin Visca has revealed that Arsenal have been following him. Visca told Sporx: “Arsene Wenger has sent scouts to observe my games, this has motivated me and helped me get into the [Bosnian] national team.” 5) Arsenal want Nigeria youngster Kelechi Iheanacho, according to the player’s agent. The Gunners’ chief scout Steve Rowley watched the 17-year-old forward during his Golden Ball winning performance at the Under-17 World Cup in November.
