Todays wisdom: (sorry late, was rushing out house this morning....8:00 class) Proverbs21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop(eastern style houses were flat on top therefore leaving you exposed to the elements), than with a brawling(nagging,quarrelsome and faultfinding) woman in a wide house and Proverbs21:19It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious(causing disagreement/controversy) and angry woman -hmmm.....well it looks like God is warn us guys about this dreaded creature called the woman *wink wink* (please dont hurt me ladies) lol jk. It can go both ways i.e the guys can be the culprits as well. however the point of the verses are to highlight how miserable life will be when you have to associate with such qualities on a day to day basis everyday of life. all such specified qualities speak of discord and disagreement, lack of unity and support. no PEACE, constant quarreling , majoring on the minors and exploding over little disturabances etc. etc. again these qualities speak of character. so think down the line........although the person may be really pretty on the outside they may be disgustingly ugly on the inside(equivalent for the guys too). do you really want to spend the rest of your life with such a personality? what can you do about it? well you can start developing and working on your own character, learn to control your temper if you are trippy, learn humility and how to put other before yourself etc etc. but at the same time set high standards dont compromise( although they say u may have to in marriage but whatever.... i too small to talk that talk :/ ). what if youre already in the relationship? well hard luck they.............ok maybe not jk jk. Same as with the singles, Jesus is the prince of peace, He brings SHALOM (nothing missing nothing broken) He will be your source. cant change your ways? thats just the way you are and you cant change?....you sure right!...thats why ya need Jesus to change it for ya :) you attract the lifestyle you portray (or to that effect O_o ) and u cya change no man (or woman)....keep it in mind :D
