Todays word for thought is.. ret·ri·bu·tion / retrəˈbyo͞oSHən 1. requital according to merits or deserts, especially for evil. 2. something given or inflicted in such requital. 3. the act of punishing or taking vengeance for wrongdoing, sin, or injury. Now I am sure that there are so many different ways that this will be taken and digested by those who will read it. Some will say it is a thinly worded threat, some will say it is a warning, others will say it is just a cut and paste with no meaning at all. Those that feel this could be a warning to them, well those people have something on their hearts that should be confessed to God and they might want to change their evil ways. Those that think it is a warning or threat to others need to admit that they know what has been done is wrong and evil, and that standing up for what they know is wrong is what they should be doing. I have always made the offer and it still stands, if anyone has a legitimate question that I can answer, dont be a coward and post it online knowing it cant be answered by others, my door is open to you, dont hide behind fake names and profiles, be yourself and come ask your question. There is no honor in being a coward, I respect the person who is not ashamed to show their face and stand face to face and ask a question, one day we will all stand with our faces unhidden before the one true Judge, God himself and there will be no place to hide. Heather is our daughter, she is our flesh and our blood, our tears and our smiles. Those of you who slander Heathers name are in no position to judge, those same few who trash our family name and spew vile lies are also in no position to do so even if you think you are. Heather is still missing, our hearts are still broken, our lives are still in chaos, our thoughts are still only on finding our daughter. Yes, we still have to run a business, we still have jobs to do, we still have a house to clean and things to fix. Our lives are paralyzed for the most part but the faith that is God given makes it possible to face the dawn of each new day, not that it is easy or that it get any easier because it does not. Todays word for thought is just that.... a word for thought and possibly prayer. So today lets pray for retribution and for forgiveness and for understanding and for peace, lets pray for Gods mercy on each and every person who has been hurt by this life changing event and lets pray for a calmness of heart with clarity of purpose in Gods perfect plan for each of us and if you can find it in your heart to add Heather and our family in that same prayer I personally would be humbled and truly appreciative of your prayer. May God bring peace to each of you who reads these words, may his loving arms surround Heather wherever she may be and may we all learn to forgive and live for God and the kingdom which has been promised to those that confess and proclaim his Holy name. Amen.
