Today’s Bible verse for meditation. I will redeem them from death. Hos.13:14 Dear brother and sister, I bring Greetings in Jesus name. Dear beloved in Christ, redeem them from death means, the people who are redeemed and saved from the destruction due to idolatry. Our God’s purpose has not changed. He redeems us from death, graveyard, and hell. It’s true even today He is standing still to redeem us. Dear beloved, perfect deliverance will be on the day of resurrection only. The death and the graveyard are dangerous. But even then it cannot destroy the God’s purpose in the children of God’s life. New Testament teaches us Our Lord Jesus Christ’s resurrection is, His victory over death. In 1Cor.54-55 Apostle Paul writes very clearly, O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? In Isa. 25:8 says Jesus Christ will swallow up death forever, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; the rebuke of His people, He will take away from all the earth; for the Lord has spoken. In Heb.2:14 Paul says, through death He might destroy him who had the power of death. Dear beloved, wrath of God came against Israel. Even then our Lord showed His mercy through Jesus Christ and His death. This we can realise. Like the people of Israel, even if you have committed any sin which is not pleasing to God, the compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ is still towards us even today. We are aware of His compassion. Dear brethren, except God if you have worshiped any other strange God, and as a result if you are under His wrath, before going to be serious better to draw near to Him. He says I will deliver them from the death. He redeemed the people of Israel from death. Same way He will redeem you from death. Do not give importance to any other thing. He will redeem you from death. May God bless you, God be with you and lead you.
