Today’s Inspiration – Tomorrow’s blessings – RAISE THE BAR – Defined in Wiktionary is to raise standards or expectations, especially by creating something to a higher standard. When we come to Christ, He moulds us into His image by increasing and shedding light on our perception of where He wants us to be. When we get serious about seeking Him and His ways, He makes sure we won’t be disappointed. In other words He doesn’t intend for us to remain stagnant when it comes to pursuing Him and His ways. He carefully and sincerely guides us into all knowledge and truth at varying levels of understanding. The higher He takes us, the clearer our vision becomes. The clearer our vision becomes the harder it becomes for persecution to have a lasting effect on us. Why, because we start to recognise obstacles on our path for what they are. Obstacles that are all designed to slow us down, because we’re moving quickly through Christ’s Light. Encouragement for the Day: Christ will keep raising the bar to help you, which in turn helps you to overcome what seems impossible to the human eye and also carries you through all hardships. You begin to truly understand that He means what He says and what He says goes. (Hebrews 4 v 12 – 16) “Once you’re convinced that he is right and righteous, you’ll recognize that all who practice righteousness are God’s true children.” (1 John 2 v 29 – MSG), which puts excitement and determination into every step you take.
