Today’s P & W thought: Never Would I have Made It Without You … Matthew 5:4 blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Grief is something that can be used positively.... I know in our human minds/nature and when emotions are involved, it is difficult to comprehend this. For the past few days I’ve been walking around like a zombie and Im sure some of you out there have gone through the same thing … gutted by what happened on Sunday, the death of our teacher Dr Myles Munroe. But slowly we see things differently, accept the loss and praise God for comforting and seeing us through difficult and trying times … as never could we ever make it without Him. We become stronger and wiser when we go through grieving period. In our culture men are taught to cover up their emotions and act tough around people, because thats how men are! However, the Bible teaches us that were blessed when we mourn. Why? Because God wants to comfort us! He wants us to pour out our hearts to Him, to experience His love and the way that only He can take care of us. He wants us to totally surrender and depend on Him, because when we are weak, we are strong. My friends, if we choose to bottle things up, eventually its going to come out. But if we allow God to walk with us through our grief, we will come out stronger and wiser on the other side. Have a blessed Friday my dear friends … Marvin Sapp
