Today’s Word: Being thankful is really and truly a powerful thing. Thankfulness is therapeutic, it draws God’s presence, and it’s a pleasing aroma to Him. It’s time to really be radical and diligent about being thankful. Let’s take a time out, write out a list, and be extravagant in thanking God for everything we have. Be sure to read the verses below, for you will discover God’s will for you is to give thanks. Scripture: “Pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” -1 Thessalonians 5:17-19 “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts since as members of one body you were called to peace and be thankful.” -Colossians 3:15 “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” -Colossians 4:2 “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His Name.” -Psalm 100:4 “He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for you and I, how will He not also along with Him graciously give us all things.” -Romans 8:32
