Today’s report on climate change is sobering. Based on input from hundreds of the nation’s top scientists and technical experts, this comprehensive report shows without swift action, every corner of our country and every sector of our economy will be affected. In Oregon, we are already seeing more frequent droughts and increasingly severe wildfires, but that’s just the start. Climate change could wreak havoc on fishing, agriculture, recreation, infrastructure and public health. This report should be a wake-up call.
