Today’s word of encouragement: “Be gracious to me, O Lord, For to You I cry all day long. Make glad the soul of Your servant, For to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You.” Psalms 86:3-5 Do these words sound familiar? I myself release similar heartfelt cries to God quite often! It is only because of the level of surrender to God that I have the right to even come to Him. The cries or even the requests I make are often daily. I desire the wisdom, protection and provision only God can provide! The deep seated emotions within my soul are only reachable by His extremely abundant lovingkindness. God’s forgiveness is so freely given to the earnest repentant heart! Our advocate Jesus has this to say to us as well. “You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.” John 15:16 “And He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 Today remember that we call out to our heavenly Father who abounds in grace. We run to His side for His protection! His love is more than enough! He desires us so very much that He sent Jesus to do what we are unable to do for ourselves! Never allow anyone to convince you otherwise! JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO THE FATHER! Enter in again to His presence as you finish reading this simple note and be blessed! God bless you P.M.
